Map an FTP site to Windows Print

STEP1: ADD A NETWORK LOCATION

Go to “This PC” maximize the ribbon and click on “Add a network location”.

STEP 2: SELECT NETWORK LOCATION WIZARD

Now, the next step is to add the Network Location Wizard.

Simply click on “Next”

STEP 3: CUSTOM NETWORK LOCATION

Add a Custom Network Location where you want to create the new network.

STEP 4: SPECIFY LOCATION

To Specify the location of your website, type the name of domain along with its path. The example is given below:

Syntax Example:

ftp://ftp41.itcompany.info

STEP 5: SPECIFY USERNAME/PASSWORD

You can specify the username password to your FTP site.

If your FTP site does not require a username, you can click Next

But If your FTP requires a username, unselect “Log on anonymously” enter the username and click Next.

STEP 6: NAME THE LOCATION

Give your site an easy name of your choice so you can remember it well. And simply click Next.

STEP 7: COMPLETE SETUP

Once you have added the Network Location Wizard your setup has successfully been completed.
